The “Beijing Ecological and Environmental Science and Technology Special Project”, jointly applied by Beijing Municipal Research Institute of Environmental Protection, Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (RCEES, CAS) and COMPLANT, has successfully obtained approval from the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment after going through project defense, expert review, expert demonstration, project public announcement and other procedures. It has become one of the first batch of Beijing Ecological and Environmental Science and Technology Projects in 2025.

Since promoting relevant work on the synergistic treatment of medical wastewater, the Biological Environmental Protection Working Group of COMPLANT has actively carried out industry research and project docking. It has conducted multiple discussions with the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment, Beijing Municipal Research Institute of Environmental Protection and RCEES, CAS. Taking the opportunity of participating in the upgrading of new pollutant control standards for medical wastewater, the company has undertaken the research task of "Removal Characteristics and Enhancement Strategies of Antibiotics and ARGs in Hospital Sewage", which serves as a development opportunity for the company to enter the segmented field of medical wastewater treatment at a high starting point. The research results will be an important basis for the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment to formulate local standards for new pollutant control.
