First Batch of Wind Turbines of COMPLANT’s Black Peak Wind Power Project in Serbia Achieve Grid-connected Power Generation
Time:2026-06-18
On June 14 local time, a milestone was achieved for the Black Peak 150 MW wind power project in Serbia: two wind turbines were connected to the grid and generated the first kilowatt-hour of electricity at 13:12. This achievement marks a breakthrough in the key grid-connected power generation process for new energy projects, signifying that the overall project has entered a new phase.
As the largest mountain wind power project under construction in the Balkans, this project has set a record for the fastest progress among similar projects covering merger and acquisition closing, construction commencement and phased grid-connected power generation. Taking this grid connection as a new starting point, the project team will forge ahead with follow-up work and strive to achieve full-capacity grid connection of the project at an early date.
